Since the charter school's inception, Union Day School has been consistently recognized for the quality of the education it provides and its nurturing, supportive learning environment. UDS has been recognized multiple times as Charlotte Magazine Best of the Best winner for Area Public/Charter School.

Students flourish in the small-school environment at Union Day School.  Parents appreciate the opportunity for their children to experience a "private school feel without the cost."  UDS teachers love the chance to engage and motivate their students in a place where education is enthusiastically embraced and nurtured.

With diverse After School Enrichment Programs, innovative activities such as the UDS House System (think Harry Potter!) and School in the Woods, as well as interscholastic athletics, community service projects and established before-and after-school services, Union Day School is exceptionally well qualified to meet the interests and needs of its students and families.
